The Menehune
Traveling to Kauai, visitors will probably hear the folk legend of the Menehune often enough to where it warrants a section on this website. Despite the tiny people's inabilty to fly a helicopter (as far as we know), you might just see their structures.
Hawaiian Folklore
Kauai is filled with some pretty intense and magnificent Hawaiian folklore. From the night marching ghosts of long deceased warriors all the way up to driving pork across certain roads. Manoa offers a special trail, that crosses seven bridges, but when returning only crosses six.
Hawaii History
After years of war, the history of Hawaii finally came to a peace under King Kamehameha the Great. This government was taken away from the native people by a largely American and European group of settlers in 1893.
Menehune
The Menehune are a mythical race of people that live throughout the island of Kauai. They are incredibly short in stature and their favorite food are bananas. The race are supposedly great craftspeople, who can create great spritual towers and even ponds.
